Oh, I had no idea...

So you would refer to π as 3,1415926535897...?

Edit: also, how would you pronounce 12,5%/12.5%?

This also doesn't count the purged accounts. My original account was purged.

Yeah, Finnish Excel automatically formats them like that, so if I'm posting statistics with a decimal point rather than a comma, I always have to edit them before posting. It's a pain if I have to copypaste float values (for example averages) from the database since it assumes they are dates and then it's best just to cancel it because if you change a date field to numeric, the numbers will change.

Indeed.

In 12,5% the "," is pronounced as "Komma". At least in German.

joo wrote:I have often wondered about this... what makes some people use a comma in place of a decimal point when quoting fractional percentages?

e.g. 12,5% instead of 12.5%.

I think that it's mostly a language thing... In english here it's "." and the french use ",".

What is the date of the oldest project still sitting around unfinished? I'm curious because one of my chars recently came across one that was started in the 600s.

The oldest unfinished project was started 61-2. Also there's one project for manufacturing a hammer that doesn't have any starting time or iniator.

If possible, I'd like to know how many times items and resources are picked up, dropped, and dragged in one day compared to how many of the queries submitted are for doing more interesting things such as talking, hitting, traveling, hunting, and project creation.

I'd like to know how many existing boats have smelting furnaces on them.

There are 194 primitive smelting furnaces on boats (I also included cabins and holds although the limit was probably put in place before those were implemented). There are no regular smelting furnaces on boats.

As for distribution of events, I forgot to include the within a day limit so I ended up getting all of them (that's seven days). I think I'll make a pie chart on them.

Wasn't expecting one to be around that old. Thanks, Seko!

It doesn't contain specifics of everything because making graphs was pretty slow and it's not always even interesting. I was going to make more graphs but I got tired. It also has doubles removed because different events are often created from the actor and watcher's perspectives. Some values like storing in containers in one's inventory were calculated based on reducing the amount of watcher events from the amount of actor events. Some events may have been seen or heard by several people and some might not have been seen by anybody.

And, eat that pie, Yugo. So taking and dropping is 15%. Plus moving another 15%.
