Uploading pictures

Postby Siphersh » Wed May 19, 2004 10:45 am

How long does it usually take until a picture is uploaded and can be used in the game? Do I have to send it to programming@cantr.net? Or is that the wrong address?

Or should I rather use an off-site picture-hosting service?

Usually within a day or so, but sometimes it gets more delayed. The best approach is to resend it. You have the right email.

They want to be able to control it. Once you put pictures into notes that may find their way into other people's hands and will even outlive your characters, they don't want the pictures to suddenly disappear becuase you changed websites or took down the picture or whatever.

As soon as it's finished (If it ever will be) or if my char gets killed, I'll send it to the PrDpt.

This is just against the rules - mail the to programming@cantr.net and we'll upload them.

It is against the rules for the reasons Kroner mentioned above.
