I need a smoke
Someone has probably suggested this already but... Could you add tobacco to the game? You could wrap dried tobacco inside leaves and smoke it. Is there an option to smoke hemp?
And why can't you brew ale? That was more common than water in the old days.

"Old Days"? you must be thinking back to the days men traveld by chariots, lets just say around the 1500's. However, they also had domestic animals like dogs, horses, cows, and sheep. We haven't even gotten that far yet
It's still a good idea though

I don't really think that Cantr needs drugs. There are a couple of threads on this already, but hey, its phpbb why not start another one, that's the way it goes. (I've kinda got used to it, it's not that unmanagable after all with good skills at searching topics)
Maybe hemp, yea. You know, you don't want to put 200 grams of hemp in a pipe. Maybe produce hashish 500 g hemp -> 20 g of hash or something like that...
But I just cannot imagine how the actual act of smoking to be implemented... You don't want to have a project.... nooo....
Maybe... you have a pipe... and 'use' it -> 'woman in her sixties lites pipe' and that's it. No project, no putting anything into any kind of project and no time needed. That would be an entirely new kind of in-game activity.
But... the point of drugs are the psychoactive effects. Of all of them, of course. Having drugs in Cantr would be non-functionality put to the extremes. I don't know... Something similar to clothes at present, but even more non-functional.
And... drugs are bad, mm'kay? Without simulating the possible negative (edit: and positive) physical _and mental_ consequences, this would give a decieving impression about drugs. That's not good.
