I KNOW this has been suggested. But I don't feel like searching for it. Someone else can.

Yeah, it's logical and improves RP, without too much drama for ProgD, I would imagine. That's the type of thing that should be getting implemented.

Ya I thought so too, but I think what was actually suggested was a loud speaker for outside in town... But that's a little useless...

No, there was one for ships too.

Maybe you're thinking of the whole signal flags/flare guns suggestion?

It would seem that there was a suggestion for this made awhile ago. Sorry. I had searched PA speaker, and loudspeakers never came up. But hey....seems like everyone likes the idea.....And Chase already said it should be implemented......so what are we waiting for?

I 110% fully support this. To include being able to talk to very close ships normally without docking, and a megaphone/PA increasing the range greatly.

Also, the idea of a central intercom for buildings (or a captain's address system for ships!) to communicate with every room in a building/ship is quite excellent.

This has my unabashed seal of approval.
The freedom to be completely insane, also to lose the game.

Here today, gone from the face of the 'net tomorrow; such is the military life. Pardon my oscillating existence.

As the president of the former ship-to-ship intercourse suggestion, I pledge my undying loyalty to this idea.

Let's make it work without any additional gadgets. Just building a ship radio and sending out messages on channel 0 would broadcast to any ship close by, even if they don't have their own radio. Solved!
