Most keys on one person: 404
Most copies of one key: 27

I can't post any names here nor were they included in the query, but if your charrie has 200 or more key, that puts them in the top ten. There are 2998 characters who are carrying at least 1 key, 749 that are carrying at least 10 keys, 130 who are carrying at least 50 keys and 49 people who are carrying at least 100 keys.

Not times, people? Are those just hits or kills?

Yes. Separate people, it doesn't count how many times or how much damage was dealt. I made a separate query for total damage but I'm not sure if the damage values are just from the latest hit or a sum of all hits, probably the former. The meaning of the table is just to record whether a kill occurred. Some of them were kills, some were just hits. It just shows which characters or players like to spar a lot.

Add one when you do that check. For some reason my account couldn't be reactivated and I have a new one now. I'm sure others just applied for a new account when they returned, not knowing they could reuse the old account.

Yes, it would be an underestimate.

I was listening to an episode of Radiolab and heard about a law in math called Benford's Law. Basically, if you go through a list of numbers, most will start with a 1 and the least from 9.

Do you think it could be applied to Cantr? I did a test with my own characters and found it pretty interesting. What I did was go through each character inventory and mark the first digit of each resource. I found that there were a lot more 1's and 2's than 8's and 9's. Maybe someone else could try it for themselves. The more characters and resources, the better. But I wonder how close the numbers will run if the whole database was looked at. Also, what about current project percentages? I wonder if that is applicable to this law.

It's less visible in project percentages since the amount of possible numbers is restricted to 1001 when displayed with one digit, so you have 1.0 through 1.9 and 10.0 through 19.9 and finally 100. Since projects don't generally last for days, it's likely to jump over the first category and sometimes over the second category as well.

I think if status 2 means reactivated in the db, it may have been covered by an earlier graph. At least I think that's what it means.

I'd like to see boats stuck out a sea with no "drivers"?

Has the total number of landlocked vessels been asked? (Ships built in areas that have no way to undock)

ALSO: Place with the most land locked vessels? Er... how many is the most of all places? O.o

Don't actually state the place, is what I'm trying to say.

There are 481 boats that are currently sailing or floating (not counting ones docked to others that are sailing or floating). Out of them 202 have at least one living person on board, which means that 279 (58%) have no living people on board. People in cabins, cargo holds and docked boats are not counted.

Number of floating and sailing ships in the game, sorted by type, total amount of living chars on board, average amount of people per vessel

Code: Select all

type         boats   chars   avg
-------------------------------------
rowing-boat       1     0   0.00
raker           106   160   1.51
dugout canoe      5     3   0.60
skimmer           5     8   1.60
soarer           15    10   0.67
darter           18     7   0.39
longboat        147    50   0.34
raft             22     4   0.18
dinghy           76     9   0.12
sloop            69    52   0.75
galleon          17    33   1.94

Number of land vehicles that are currently traveling, sorted by type, amount of living people inside, average amount of people per vehicle

Code: Select all

type          amount   chars   avg
----------------------------------------
passenger car        3    4   1.33
bike                 9    4   0.44
rickshaw            27   28   1.04
tandem bike         20   26   1.30
bike cart            3    3   1.00
jeep                 1    1   1.00
tricycle             1    1   1.00
small van            1    1   1.00
pickup               1    1   1.00
small pickup         1    1   1.00
stationcar           5   10   2.00
road motorcycle      2    2   1.00
dirt motorcycle     18   18   1.00
small wooden cart   51   51   1.00
mini-van             1    1   1.00
pickup               4    7   1.75
jeep                 2    3   1.50
van                  3   12   4.00

As for landlocked boats, subqueries tend to go over my head so I can't think of a simple way to get locations that are docked to another location that's a land location and doesn't border a sea or lake. There are 1527 locations with boats docked to them so I suppose copypasting 1527 location ids into an in statement would be a bit too much.

Oh, now I figured it out, I was just thinking about it backwards. There is one place with 4 landlocked boats, one place with three, four places with two and ten places with one landlocked boat.

8 on Treefeather
8 on Noniwrok
4 on Dutch/German/Spanish region
3 on Cantr island
1 on Aki
1 on one of the Polish islands
-----------------------------------
25 Total
