Hi all.. old (and ex-active) Cantr player returning..

Was an active player and played a few important characters who potentially had an influence on the future of Cantr..

I am going to start playing again regardless of the answers to the questions I am about to ask; but.. in general, how has Cantr progressed (if at all)?

Ie, the K-Island (can't believe I remember this).. how is that going overall? Nothing specific.. And that uninhabited land to the west(?) of it? Has that seen any growth? Have the other races mingled and assimilated? How are places like Plaekur/Plaekur Forest etc? Still diverse with the Guardians or whatnot?

Not after specifics as that might be against the rules.. but just general descriptions of progress, if people don't mind..

I left when the downward spiral of players leaving was getting really bad (bit selfish I know ) but will try to get an old friend to play again and maybe a few others.

What are the statistics for active players like? Has it seen any decent growth in the past 2 or 3 years?

The following story is why I am returning.. it actually brought a tear to my eye.

Hall Vilor, my character, spawned in the middle of no-where. There was literally nothing. One of the people he spawned from, was a traveller/explorer from the K-Island, an ex-Blackrock, who had taken refuge on this giant land. Hall spent his entire 51 years of life (well, 31 + 20) on this desolate land.. until he met Kiana and later another lady. He was an 'ape' like man who was tamed by Kiana and they both had dreams to create iron, which his spawnfather owned, and was 'magical'.. here are his final moments:

edit: They rarely saw anyone in all their lives.. they struggled to survive, often starving for very long periods of time. I'd love to know who played Kiana! Great role-player.

holding him not letting go and cries herself to sleep*"

squirms for a bit, but then stops suddenly, dead, unmoving. 31 years,
from day 1591. Hall dies.*"
2214-5: You say: "*he hugs her tightly, placing his lips on her
mouth, he kisses her passionately, his eyes closed in a manner like his
dream has come true. He releases his kiss from her mouth and falls to
the ground, weak. He turns his head to Aunna, and acknowledges her. He
smiles* Love.. loved you.. you both... dearly.. I.. I'd die for
either.. of you... you know that... Please... live on... find Bert..
find others.. leave... leave this place.."
2214-5: Kiana says: "*tears well up* No Hall.. no.. no... you .. you
can't leave us. "
2214-5: You say: "*he takes in each breath, it prolongs his life*
Kiana... let... let me go.. please.. You saved me once.. that.. that's
all you can do... "
2214-5: Kiana says: "Hall! *she wraps her arms around him, holding
onto him gently* No!!!!! You can't!!! *panic fills her eyes, her lips
close to his , sealing her lips on his, she breathes into him then
releases staring at him, doing it again, kissing him again, sharing her
breath*"
2214-5: You say: "*he makes wheezing sounds as he struggles very hard
to breath in. No air is being breathed in, only out*"
2214-5: You say: "*he puts his hand around her side and moves her
closer to himself* Kiss.. me.. last... time..."
2214-5: You say: "*he sits up, unable to breath in, no longer moving
erratically but able to see and move. He moves closer to Kiana. He
conserves his words for his lack of breath.*"
2214-5: Kiana says: "Remember we need to stick together... that's why
we are all here together. I'm sorry I fell ill... must have been that
smelly body that rolled into town. *she leans in closer, her lips
close to his and gently kisses him, softly speaking after, rubbing his
arm a little* Don't give up Hall..."
2214-5: You say: "*he starts choking* Kiana! *his eyes are wide open,
scared as all hell, and his body is shaking a bit* Kiana! Kiana! I'm
dying! Kiana! I don't want to die! Kiana!"
2214-5: You say: "*he is still whispering* I .. I wish I knew.. But I
don't know.. why.. this.. is happening to me.. I guess.. maybe.. the
inevitability of it all... got to my head.. and maybe something
broke..."
2214-5: Kiana says: "*leans in next to him, holding ont to his hand,
her other one combs through his hair* Please Hall, tell me ... is can I
do something for you. I'll do what it takes to make you feel better..
anything Hall."
2214-5: You say: "I.. I always .. wanted to see.. where Felix Tasman
came from.. my spawnfather... the legendary K-Island.. with.. with the
magic iron... with... *more tears stream down his face* Kiana.. if I
die.. I .. just want to thank you.. for turning me into who I am...
when I met you, I was a jungle man.. I had no concept of love, of care,
of friendship.. you taught me it all, you taught me how to be 'civil'...
if I die, I want you to know I love you and greatly appreciated this.."
2214-5: You say: "*his eyes water up, and he tries blinking the tears
away. They roll down either side of his face*"
2214-5: You say: "I... I'll try to hold on.. for you Kiana.. and for
Aunna.."
2214-5: You say: "*his finger twitches as he feels Kiana's face, and
his eyes squint as he tries to concerntrate*"
2214-5: Kiana says: "*she leans in closer taking his hand, slowly
placing it on her face allowing him to feel her nose then cheeks, then
traces down to her lips, after she takes his hand in hers* Please
Hall... please... please don't... no no you aren't dead. You are here,
right here with me and Aunna. Hall, I love you, I've always cared for
you. You, you can't leave us, not like this..."
2214-5: You say: "I don't know if I have long.. or if I'll live or
die... I am.. I am very very scared... I can't move.. I can't see.."
2214-5: You say: "*he speaks softly but he speaks fluently* Am I
dead? I feel dead.. Kiana.. I can hear your voice.. *he is unmoving,
his eyes moving around wildly* All.. All I can see is white.. I think
I'm supposed to be dead... Kiana? .. I loved you.."
2214-5: You say: "*his eyes open, but he doesn't look at Kiana, his
eyes dart around as if he is confused*"
2214-5: Kiana says: "Hall? *her hand rests on his arm*"
2214-5: You say: "*he feels Kiana's touch and inhales softly and
slowly*"
2214-5: Kiana says: "*her voice shakey and quiet* Aunna , he.. he
can't be..... he has to wake. Hall, he .. he came back looking for me
years ago after Bert gave up on me years and years ago. Hall he never
gave up. If it wasn't for him I fear I would have died long ago... and
now he, he..*she stares at him as he lays there on the ground*"
2214-5: Kiana says: "*she struggles , pulling herself near Hall,
nudging him gently staring at him* Hall.. please don't! You .. you
can't give up! I'll get better soon I hope.. just ... I know how hard
it is, but don't give up Hall."
2214-2: Aunna Solace says: "NO! *starts sobbing now, shaking his arm
weakly* Hall!"
2214-2: You say: "*he sighs out his last breath, his head rolls to
the side and his eyes close slowly, his muscles relax*"
2214-2: You say: "*he starts crying too* It's.. cold... really..
cold... Aunna.."
2214-2: Aunna Solace says: "*tears start running down her cheeks as
she holds on to his hand tightly* N-no...you can't go, Hall. You
can't!"
2214-2: You say: "*he inhales a small amount of air and weakly grabs
Aunna's hand* I .. can't... 51.. years.. we... we'll.. never..."
2214-2: Aunna Solace says: "You...you hafta stay with us!"
2214-2: Aunna Solace says: "Your time for what? NO!"
2214-2: You say: "My ... time... *he tries inhaling but now can't*
51.. years..."
2214-2: You say: "*he shakes his head, unable to speak properly* I..
*he looks to Kiana and Aunna*"
2214-2: Aunna Solace says: "*kneels next to him, looking panicky*

2214-2: Aunna Solace says: "Hall! Are you okay?"
2214-2: You say: "*he falls to the ground, clutching his heart*"
2214-2: You see Kiana use some wood on Manufacturing a Wooden Plate.
2214-2: Kiana says: "*gobbles more spinach up, wiping her mouth* At
this rate if I go back I'll run out of food.... "
2214-0: You ate 136 grams of your spinach.
2213-5: You say: "We ready to leave yet?"
2213-4: Project Farming to get spinage has been finished (768 grams,
ending up on the ground).
2213-2: Kiana says: "Umm, ate so much at once, felt about three
hundred grams. "
2213-2: You see Kiana take some spinach.
2213-2: Kiana says: "*gobbles up some spinach, wiping her mouth with
the back of her hand*"

Are you a troll, or do you have no appreciation for role-play? Or has Cantr become RP-less these days? Just curious as to why you'd respond in such a way.

Yes, of course it's lame. I left Cantr for that exact reason (my social life disapproved of playing a dorky RP'ing game).. I don't come on here and pay you out for posting on an internet forum, so there's no need for that mate.

Yeah, but it's called being tactful. Judging by your posts, I'd guess you wouldn't be any older than 15. And you probably are a bit of a social recluse with few friends, and I might be pushing it here, but you probably get picked on at school.. hence why you release your anger on an internet forum. Based on this, I can understand and appreciate why you act the way you do, and will leave you be.

What I said was lame, but it was in context with the place it was posted. If there was a website for writing and reviewing essays, and someone posted an essay, it'd be pretty dumb to say 'thats lame'... Same thing here. I can tell you're obviously very immature.
