Spawning: exclude hungry chars from pop. calculations
Split from New building: Kindergarten.
I don't think spawning should depend on any physical objects since that would be unnatural. But what if people would only count as a potential parent if they had 0% hunger? That way newspawns would be less likely to appear in locations where people are struggling to hunt enough food, and people who don't want to contribute to raising the population in their town could ration their meals. Also I guess sleepers are often starving so they wouldn't contribute to attracting newspawns unless others fed them. Although if the system changed, characters probably shouldn't be aware of the connection between nutrition and spawning rates... but some players would be likely to use OOC information anyway, not like it could be proven it was intentional.

Agree this might be a start.
(First time I read this sloppy was to exclude hungarian characters... going what the .. you got against hangarians?
Still it would be nice if a city somehow got any possibilty to show they want newspawns, cater for them. So newspawns pop up on locations where they are appreciated.

Maybe later we could have the option to eat some more than we need to allow having meals when you decide instead of having to make difficult calculations if you want to eat more than one or two types of food in a day. Well-fed chars would be like a sign saying "hey potential newspawns, we've got an abundance of resources here!"
Also with that option we could make auto-eating only prevent you from getting more hungry, but not fix existing hunger. That way if sleepers were starved regularly, they would be more likely to die from further negligence since to fix existing hunger, the player would have to log in and eat something manually. It's a bit backwards that we don't have auto-healing but hunger does auto-replenish if you're given enough food.

It wouldn't be that hard. We just need to change the eating script and add new eating button. At the end of auto-eating tick, the hunger would be increased by 5%, and at the eating tick it would be decreased. So that, if you eat manually everyday, the auto-eating tick would only be used to increase your hunger. If you don't eat manually, your hunger would be constantly at 5%.

Many old charries sleep a whole bunch since they've already accomplished all their goals. I've also been guilty of it lately, although I still log in every day. Most towns in Cantr rely on one or two people who have access to all the good stuff, and if they can't be awake enough to employ newspawns then people will end up having to start from the stone age and gather and build everything from scratch. Also old charries haven't necessarily settled down, they could also be traveling. It would be a bit artificial if travelers intentionally started maintaining a bit of hunger to eliminate themselves from the spawning calculations so it would be better if there was another method for excluding them, but this suggestion would be good for excluding sleepers and other neglected chars + ones who are trying to starve themselves to death intentionally.

That why I said, make a project "Cater for the kids" at the kindergarden. And you get 100% sure newspawns pop on places that want newspawns.
