Wait a minute, only when the lock is destroyed? Couldn't that be (ab)used for long-range communication?

No. It can be reclaimed if the lock's still there, too. :P

I looked up skill levels on all landmasses, not realizing that I was looking at page 1 instead of the most recent page. It out to be a bit problematic, since only outdoors locations belong to certain islands while the buildings and vehicles on them would count as belonging to island 0. Therefor instead of using the current locations of characters, I used their spawn locations, since those are always outside (save for rare cases of people spawning on ships due to a bug). First I excluded characters whose spawn location is unknown, which still left 3 that were spawned on "island 0", but once I limited it to living characters, those three were excluded. Then I excluded islands with 10 or less spawns left alive. It doesn't take into account if the chars have moved away from the island they spawned on. However in order to publish the results, I would have to know what to call the islands and it's not always recorded in the database. I was looking up the locations named by the most people on the unknown islands but then the database choked.

Meanwhile here's a graph for the amount of active chars by language group. Or at least chars that have been checked by the player, as it doesn't necessarily mean they would have done something.

I would like to know the number of Swedish people in the town with most Swedes and the average number of Swedish people per location with at least one Swedish.

The most Swedes in one place is 4 (in Centralplatsen and Malmhamn, also in Scerparilia and Shai if people indoors are counted) and the average per location is 1.3.

As for the skills and states by island, I decided to exclude islands with less than 50 spawns alive, since the values were fluxuating too much and some of the islands aren't generally known. This also dropped out the old Swedish island Sserperia. Although now you can't really see much details since Photobucket reduced the image size so much. It was a tangled mess anyway. Oh and the ones with a dashed line represent less than 25% of the people on many islands since most people haven't had time to try out those skills, while thick lines represent skills that have been generally discovered by over 75% of the characters.
