Skin Color

Postby Josephpowers » Fri Oct 23, 2009 3:15 am

I noticed in Cantr that skin color is not implemented. Wouldn't it be neat if you could choose your skin color?
for example...
You see a white man in his twenties.
You see a black man in his twenties.

This has been suggested a lot of times, and also hair and eye color. It has also been discussed a lot in other topics so the conversation should be taken to one of the established topics.

There is a LOT of talk on the issue. Mostly, unfinished talk, and that won't be finished any time soon.

How about being able to see, in what language someone spawned in?

You see a german-looking men in his twenties.

Yeah, blond, blue-eyed, spiked helmet...

Concerns about being able to recognize someones spawning language are one reason why we don't have freeform descriptions yet, so I wouldn't bet on someone introducing something like that on purpose.

Because everyone in the world know that there is no such thing as dark hair in Germany. And that every german man with more than twenty years is obliged by law to wear either a lederhosen or a pickelhaube.
