I hate this island. No food ANYWHERE!@#
Ooh! I think I have a character on that island! Keep walking, and good luck. I made it.
That character is now possibly tied for my favorite character.
About to starve to death. Think she hit 10 locations in a row with no gatherable food.
I'm alone in an area with no food and I am awkwardly hunt a goat every day, hoping to kill it and have enough dung to cook it. I barely kill another one as the last bit of dung flavored cooked meat is eaten. It's a stressful never ending circle. I wish the stone pot I found wasn't soooo big.

Does this remind anyone else of playing a game called UnReal World?

I love these nearly empty islands. Especially if you find eighty-year-old men in random harbours. Dead, with the stuff (+raker) still around.
