So much for...

...marks left on the world.

...predictions, predictions.

...religion.

...currency.

...hibernation.

...the CR.

Do I have a point to this?

...maybe.

For the record, English speaking player enrollment bottomed out around 2465 (at 326 players), and has been climbing since.

That low?! I'm honestly shocked. Reveries has 1/3 cantr's player base for closed beta alone, and I've turned plenty away.. somethings clearly wrong with marketing cantr..

It's about just getting them to try it... A lot of people really aren't into text based Rpg. They say it's an awful lot of reading... At least not most people I've shown through my account. But if they would only TRY it.

Personally I don't mind the reading, most often it's more interesting to me than any book I've read. I also like the old school feel I get from it. It reminds me of old Dos games like the King's Quest series (first three), Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of Lounge Lizards, and even that old Hobbit Dos game when you had to type what you wanted to do.

These are some of the first games I ever played

Well, perhaps you could enlighten us with what you've discovered about marketing your game that we haven't?

I guess it is just talking about a game, which will (propably) be finished in next year.

If Cantr staff announced that Cantr III will be ready next year and need beta testers, propably about 1000 would sign up for it.
