2.5 benches are a longboat?

How comes the same amount needed to make a longboat you could just make 5 chairs out of it (10000g of wood), 2 and half benches or not even 2 futons!

I believe the requirements for furniture were set this high, because furniture is luxury and luxury has to be expensive. I'm not quite sure if I agree with this line of thought, but that's the way it is.

I always think of them as gigantic-sized furniture items. Like in that children's show "The Big Comfy Couch".

Lol With Ladders or stairs? Maybe an elevator?

I always figured it was the gravitational force...
