Currently four, with another foal due to be born June 25th. :D

This little guy we will be selling. The other (unborn) one will be retained for further breeding as the mare getting older and this will be her 6th and possibly last foal.

Congratulations! It must be a good feeling to see it finally born.

BTW...

Really... thats my Birthday! Woo. Coincidence? I think not... :?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. It is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Only I will remain.

lol - And just think - you offered to stick around and keep watch until six. :P

Ah well - next time around we can have cookies AND mint juleps. And I promise not to threaten to bust out the machete next time you start singing showtunes.

Thats good because with the momma mare being named Starry, i forsee many songs like "twinkle twinkle little star"

or "when you wish apon a star"

or "starlight"

or "your a star"

or "my starry sky"

or or or........ "swingin' on a star"

ANYWAY. little donny is adorable and spunky and since his mommas nick name is "my Rastafarie surfer girl" he is officially nick named "little dude"

Congratulations. And don't despair, I'm sure it will eventually learn to deal with the obviously too high number of joints in its legs.

He's gotten a bit more stable on those stilts of his. Looks like a little gazelle the way he bounces about. Yesterday was his first venture out of his foaling stall - all sorts of things to discover. :)

They live in California not Europe, Nitefyre.

New York State recently passed a law that no horses in the state can be sold to Europe for just that purpose.

Not to mention that would be one costly entree - he'll likely sell for about $3000 before he's weaned.
