I still have a character in some town where meat is a trade commodity for wood, and so forth...

It's really annoying to see forests with only a few animals in it.

Is there any news about this topic? The animals still don't seem to reproduce.

Yes it's getting really annoying. Especially in towns that rely mostly on hunting.

Nothing has been done to address this problem from the department that needs to address it. Know that when they do, I'll make sure things return to the status quo ASAP.

I was in a town recently, and I was very tickled when the leader mentioned noticing one of the herd effects that I designed into the animal mechanism. They mis-attributed the cause of the phenomenon, but I was still excited that it both worked and that someone noticed!
