Hello everyone.
I tried searching the forums and couldn't find where this was posted if it was. I would like to reccomend that the progammers find a way to implement books and shelves into the game. This would aid with note-clutter and would allow for a more organized game. I have a character who is rebuilding a library and this is why I thought to do this. A library with actual books. I thought that the books could be made using leather and some sinew or string. The books then work like a standard storage unit. You are able to put only notes into them, and depending on the size of the book determines how many notes/pages. The books are able to be picked up and looked through, the notes able to read without seperating them from the book. The books should also be able to be organized on shelves. This works just like a standard organization item. I hope you like the idea, and if you have any tips or criticism to make the idea better please post it.
Thanks
Books

I know this to be a duplicate as I suggested it the VERY first time I started playing and "refused" to read. (Back in 05)
There are literally HUNDREDS of this "idea" floating around rejected for the reason of "Duplicate" BUT, I think it there MIGHT be one in "Accepted" somewhere.
Note: I still very much like the idea and want to bind notes beyond envelope annoyances which can not even be sealed properly.

It IS a good idea, but what is the practical oppertunity above notes? i think it must have more pre's. For example, there must be a very nice way to read the book. So, it must be possible to scroll trough pages, and first to see the outside of the book. then by clicking left and right, you can scroll through it.
And, it must be impossible to copy the book, exept by retyping it in a note.
I think its not good to make larger of thinner books. It must be all the same size, and in all of then can contain lots of pages. enough to fit Cantr in.

I always agreed on the suggestion - be it the first time I saw it or the last ten duplicatas.
The only problem is establishing what a book means.
I, personally don't see a book to be a container of notes - mostly because I imagine that a book means, usually, that one made out of paper/parchment. The note, on the other hand, might be made of anything that I have that I can write on (a stone, a piece of bone, animal skin). Thus my self limiting imagination makes me think of a book as rather large note which consumes resources to be made.
