Haha, and me - though I've only hit the "x" once - the other time I idled out!

Bye Sunni, it was Fun. You did recently give one of my new characters a ride across the lake in Johnny's old Darter. that character got murdered recently after leaving your area.

I killed off my 100 year old characters a while back as you know and maybe you'll enjoy starting a few new ones a few months later like I did. Time away is good, returning may or may not be in your future, but if it is, go into it with a fresh new attitude.

Awe, sorry he died Bowser... Thank you... Some of them will die soon.(.Well 1 has.. 12 left to go.)... others will take a bit longer. I don't want to quit really, I want to ~finish~ this Era. There are two I may put into hibernation.. set my acount to away. log in just enough to keep them alive.. but they won't be active in any way.. just to get food is all... the account may time out.. they may not survive.. but if they do.. and I choose to return.. at least there will be an old familiar there? Then again, returning after years (canter wise) many other things, people will have changed.. and it may be to hard to get them back to where I want them. We'll see what happens.

My suggestion? Hit the X. Hard at first, easier in the long run. If you want to come back, do so without telling anyone who your characters are. This whole pettering out and not being active and not knowing if you are going to live or die thing is a lot harder on the people you leave behind than a quick

well seems everyone just wants me to hit the big X .. Maybe that worked for you.. but that is just quitting... Like I said.. I want to finish.. not just quit... Well, those of you pushing for the X.. you when...to a point.. I will finish up what I have to then they all die... byes...

I don't want you to do that. I rather have someone play this way then just stop and having all there chars dropping dead. Especially such chars with likely chars with many keys.

Quitting is quitting whether you drag it out and eventually starve or kill them off or do it with the big X. Either way, you're "quitting"...

I still say it won't happen and she'll be around awhile longer. Especially if she tries "finishing" things with hercharacters. I'm with CDLS sounds more like stalling so one could change their mind or didn't have the intention to quit in the first place. Still my thought on the matter, will continue to be until it actually happens. I'll believe it when I see it.

But when and IF it does ever happen, Sunni did have / does have some excellent and well played characters that will be missed even by mine. We'll see what happens in the future.
<Viktor> someone asks my career my answer is "full time cantriian"

Ending the game Randi.. yes, I am quiting.. and ending the game.. You win, yes, I am quiting, but they are not just going to drop dead and drop all the keys they have...

7 more will be dead as soon as they tend to it for me.. the remainder have things to finish.

(by the way, thank you for the compliment.. You have many well play charris also)

*yawn* Still waiting for the splat.

Sunni, not everyone is telling you to hit the X, not even half the posts are even about that, so maybe you are exaggerating just a little? Hell, mine are just pure sarcasm, I could care less if you stayed or left, most people do come back after all. This is a game, and the posts you leave make it sound like it is more than that, which is unhealthy.

Become a real jumper Sunni, appease the masses because ummm....they want to win?

PS: Coming back after an absence isn't that bad, I miss my old characters but have enjoyed my new ones as well.

I said I'd do what Sunni did before I quit (let them die naturally) as I did have some fascinating characters developed at the time, including an Empress - I managed it for two then hit the X. It would have taken IRL years otherwise.

I have to say it was a good feeling to do that, yes, I came back, but I'm not tied to cantr as I was previously. I can leave it for a day or more and not get edgy, then come back and play a few hours of great fun RP. It's a pastime that doesn't take up much of my life now, and I plan to keep it that way.

Good luck with your plan Sunni. It's a tough way to go out.

Do you guys seriously have to harass her?
Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.
