As the hardcore RPs wont have any connecition between cantr world and the "real world", and they always use this as argument for this and for that, we should not speak "real" languages in cantr. All languages should be made up from scratch. This includes the western alphabet. There was no history in cantr that led to the symbols a,b,c,d, we know today! We need new symbols for letters as well.

If you ignore that you spell it differently, pronounce it differently and use it differently, it is.
Just like if you ignore the fact that Spanish is spelled differently, pronounced differently from, and used differently from Latin, it's a Romance language
Oh, wait...

Great, you rewind time and/or make people do that and I'll sit her and laugh at you.
"Hardcore RPers" don't have any connection between Cantr and "the real world" but a lot of US (yes, including myself) are not going to bother with such a trivial thing. Indeed, trivial (See also: Stupid) is what that is.
Creating/using a language is not important. What IS important is HOW said language is used. The actual words you pick don't matter but the message which you were trying to convey with them.

Did anyone even say pirate? Lol You're so random sometimes. I love it.

There is no "jumping" in cantr. No character could know of this. CRB! CRB! CRB!

What a silly position some people are taking! English speakers should be aware that our language borrows words promiscuously and creates new words all the time. The only time it should be a problem IG is when someone is using OOC knowledge of another language for a character's advantage. That just isn't the case with "deja vu" and "et cetera."

No, don't you see it? Using any english that is not "pure" is a CRB. Since it requires OOC education to be more than a stubborn monolingual whose vocabulary even of its sole language is more than the absolute minimum.

Seems like if it's going to be taken that far then how would a person who spawns even be able to speak a word of english or any other language. How many of us were born speaking perfect English? It took learning from others and eventually at least thirteen years of school to develop our language skills. So if we're going to be nitpicky about it let's not talk at all when we spawn until we're about 360 years old in game because that's how long it takes most of us to develop an adult vocabulary if you convert real years into cantr years. It's just a game and the English language is comprised of many other languages like French and spanish and most players are aware of this that are native English speakers. It seems that what is accepted in the English language today should be accepted but if it was "mi nombre es Jose" then maybe you'd have something to complain about, but not a word or phrase commonly used in English.
