I can't help you unless you PM me the location or holder of the pile.
grzybi, I'm aware that the problem is for everybody but like BarbaricAvatar said, I can't go changing all the entries at once because database-wise there is no difference between real beer and beer that used to be salad and I'm sure people with beer, malt and amazake wouldn't want them all to change into salad/rye/rye bread all of a sudden. So it needs to be fixed on a case by case basis.
But since rye and rye bread were notably more common than malt and amazake according to statistics that were coincidentally recorded a couple of weeks ago, it's safe to assume that big piles used to be rye/rye bread. I just changed all piles of amazake that were equal to or bigger than 20000 to rye and I'm going to do the same with piles of malt bigger than 30000, since it's unlikely that somebody would have a pile big enough to cover half of what's available in the whole world. But if your pile was smaller than these limits mentioned, you still need to report it.
salad 280096
beer 205551
amazake 36125
malt 66166
rye 2239105
rye bread 556945

I had no idea that anybody was payed to work for Cantr...
They aren't. Better that little mistakes are made every once in a blue moon than that nothing happens on Cantr. Please remember, staff does this in spare time...and we all do our best.
Thanks Seko for your hard work!!!

I had to google for a dictionary definition of the phrase since I'd never seen it before. I hope most people will understand it's a joke. Also even though the announcement says to use the contact form, people are likely to get faster results by pm'ing me because so much spam comes in through the mailing list that spotting the legitimate messages takes a while, and I check the forums far more often than my email. Also if several people are working on the support requests, people might end up working on a request that someone else has already addressed. There were five requests sent through the mailing list now that I checked my email, I'll look into those.
Too bad we don't have a system similar to Flyspray where you could see if someone is already working on a case but it would have to be so that outsiders can't see other people's support requests and not requiring a separate registration would lower the threshold to using it.
Edit: I just looked into the chain of events (fortunately I wrote the queries used in notepad and saved it)
43 to 364 --- rye to amazake / fur bikini to fur bikini top
47 to 368 --- rye bread to beer / hide bikini to leather top
368 to 366 --- beer to malt / leather top to hide top - this overrides the previous change so that rye bread became malt, as well as beer
297 to 368 --- salad to beer / leather bikini to leather top
So looks like due to point 3, all beer currently in the game used to be salad because beer got changed into malt before salad got changed into beer. That's going to make some of the fixing easier

I noticed there was a typo in the message I posted on the previous page - rye is id 43, not 42. I fixed it earlier but looks like someone answered a support request and must've used the ids from my post, since there are now papayas in that place and I very much doubt they would have a large amount of papayas on an island where they don't grow. Also I may have written 386 instead of 368 somewhere, so if someone else is working on this, make sure you got the right numbers.

Maybe it's just because I need sleep but for some reason I am finding this whole mixup absolutely hilarious, even moreso because of people not getting the joke in the announcement.
Maybe it was a little too subtle, Doug? You probably should have gone all out with it, just started by saying the programmer responsible was sacked and then ran with that old Monty Python joke until Jos wished to let it be known that he'd been sacked too...

I noticed one more "issue" on another character where it was like 40 grams but I don't remember AT ALL what he had.
My other two characters "issues" were fixed, post haste after I sent a message to PD via the correct manner.
It mighta been bread but... I've zero clue. I mean... I don't pay a lot of attention to inventory without "You are hungry" or "You do not have the proper tools".
Can I just, I mean... I'm not looking to "get anything" out of whats about but... I've no idea what it was.
..........40 grams of sake.
