House Repairs Poll.......
I think it would be different if the buildings in cantr needed to be repaired every once and a while. Kind of like weather torn buildings or somthing. But there would need to be weather first.
so what do you think?
so what do you think?

Item and building weardown is seperate.
Items would wear down by use mainly and turn into objects.
Buildings weardown via time and other factors.
I see it having to be implmented in this order:
1) A way to enclose existing buildings by building a new one
2) A way to destroy buildings so that thier interior rooms become exterior.
Then from there there is repairing small damage, causing small damage, weather, earthquakes (of which there should be at least 1 major one somewhere in the game everyday)

I think weather and the ware of buildings/ objects would be good. I think I read somewhere that Jos said weather was coming in the distant future, but don't quote me on that *Waits for some fool to quote him*
I would like to see a building wear over years. I mean if you get 10 days of rain, then yes a leaky roof in normal. But with just normal wear a building could last years. But we should be able to repair buildings and tools.
Take a sword or saber for example. After using it so many times your saber or sword would need to be sharpend or it will break and you'd need to melt it down to make a new one, but the amount of steel you get just from the scrap would be less than what you need

well interesting is reletive obviusly sarah finds the game quite interesting at the moment. you must find some interest in the game as it is or you wouldn't be playing it.change is good an inevitable(sp?) but i think jos has said that at present the prog dept is more looking at removing bug's and the such and any new major changes will be in cantr II ver 2. some small changes will still occur but i think jos has the bug for a newer version with many new thing's in it and we should encourage that after all it's his game and i'm sure anything he brings in will only make the game better.
