Walking poles/staff

Postby griogal » Mon Sep 22, 2003 11:55 pm

As every hiker knows, walking poles significantly reduces the amount of stress on joints and muscles, and by doing so increases the speed and distance that can be covered, especially in hills and mountains.

Perhaps we could introduce something like that as well.

It would be nice...it could also work as a weapon, sort of like the billy club.
(some of my characters would like a more "refined" weapon than a caveman club, and what would be better than a nicely carved staff :))

I have a character that uses a normal stick like that, although he derives no in game benefit.

I think rather than having another kind of item, simply adding the feature to the existing stick would be sufficient

I could live with that. LOL

Was just thinking about it while I went hiking this weekend.

Great Idea

I think its a great idea!! It would add a mystic charm to your character, providing it could be seen, so could be implemented along with clothes.

A man in his twenties wearing dark robes and holding a large wooden staff.
