He's been attacked by at least 3 people, all unprovoked and was even threatened with death by a woman in charge of a town just because she felt like killing him.

Overall if I was a new person to this game and I wasn't interested in fighting, I would be like THIS GAME SUCKS.

On the contrary however, I am quite interested in violence and that is why I still play this game.

See, I find things like this hard to believe without some kind of log to back it up. Unprovoked, really?

(PS are you in the Lakeside?)

Hope that isn't in my town :( We are just trying to survive.

I've seen newspawns attacked and even killed for shits and giggles in even "well respected locations" so I do not doubt Yugo's story in the slightest.

If a character shows even the smallest HINT of anything other then being "one of us *try the pie*" then they are watched very intently. Sometimes its just easier for "guards" to simply kill and move on.

I hate this, You try something new, somebody who doesnt conform and you get abused. Just like it RL though, if you try something new and get killed you have to accept it. I'm very surprised some of my chars are not dead.

Although killing for no reason is the wrong kind of killing. It makes no sence.

I've got some quite strange, and perhaps even, annoying characters out there.

Three of them that would be extremely unusual, actually.. I have been lucky that they weren't killed!

Lol.... I got 4 charries still alive and well and im fairly suprised. One of them was almost killed when he spawned claiming to have created everybody so technically owns it but he will let you keep it all cus he is kind like that xD

Another who is a schizophrenic and really disturbed. She was standing in the middle of town begging people to hurt her other personality. She was chucked out of one town.

Am I the only one who prefers to play sane characters?

Actually being schizophrenic doesn't mean that you necessarily have more personalities.

But besides that, that seems an awful lot like one of my characters. Could you PM me the name(s)?

It really differs...like, one of my characters... the most annoying, retarded and crazy character I've ever played, got only attacked once so far. And even that was without the intention to kill. He survived the Blackrocks and Blojt, too. Hasn't been in Dory yet...Dory is another story though. They act like they're a whole good town but they're not.

I play both sane and insane characters. (Albeit preferring insane characters.)

All of my characters are very much sane. They only have odd/annoying quirks. That DOES NOT make them in ANY MANNER "crazy".

And whats this about Dory? You mean how everyone is cool until a law is broken then they go bloodthirsty mark crazy on yo ass?

OOOOOH! Well Ceddric is dead so that might help. :D (Nothing against the player still but Ceddric WAS NOT the humble man he or you stated. He was a murdering bastard! Not to mention a murdering bastard who had no remorse for doing so.)

But, yeah.... playing anything "sub normal" in Cantr has your characters chance of live drop to the 4 and 5 percentile mark. Its really a matter of luck. It comes back to, again, those willing to "play along". You can't even have your character believe anything "odd" without people raising an eyebrow and an axe.

A LOT of people aren't willing and would rather kill and, I guess, "play doll house".

I (OOCly) am glad that Ceddric is dead. Too much of a game mechanic person (to the point where it makes you look like a douchebag as a player) and not very pleasant to roleplay with in my honest opinion.

Now to be fair, I've purposely had some of my characters blow little things out of proportion, not because OMG DIFFERENT BAD, but because I was tired of the dollhouse and wanted an excuse for conflict.

Well...conflict is only fun between two nearly equal parties. Town vs newspawn is no fun as has been shown many times.
