I'm a great fan of little archeological findings like that, thanks for posting.
On a side note it's pretty funny to look back on those times, digging straight iron from the ground was nothing compared to actually being able to fight wars, you know, where you can actually kill your enemy. Since then we've succeeded at nerfing everything in a misguided attempt to "preserve player investments".
We preserved them, alright. Things are so perfectly preserved now it's practically a formaldehyde stasis chamber, and not only on that island - all over Cantr. But we (oldbie players) are as usual in denial about everything.
"It's a slowpaced game...", blah-blah-blah, rattle on the excuses. Fine, we're getting our way aren't we? And if we ever get nostalgic about when Cantr still had some real wars, excitement, opportunity and strife, we can always read about it in notes from day 400-500.
