You know what drives me nuts? When you get right down to it, science and religion have a lot in common, especially in terms of some beliefs and most definitely the fact that both science and religion are both, when you get right down to it, a quest for knowledge and understanding. The only reason people of faith have ever hated science is because it threatened to take away their power. The church was only ever afraid of loosing it's power over the people, which is fucking absurd
