I have 5 characters, some spawned in nice places, some not so much. One of the characters is supposed to be on an Esperanto island, but everything is in Spanish except the interface... ay ay ay!

I'm gonna still play though, and while I'm not too patient Cantr doesn't require much work day to day :)

Hmm... So maybe I am wrong that there are places that are boring.. (Or is it simply that, as most of my characters inherit at least a bit of my own insanity, they just liven up everything?)

I personally think Cantr as what it was started as, has failed. As a game it's prospered.

You can't mimic society if you lack the two largest sways in it.
Death, and birth. Do you know what makes changes happen in society? When the alpha animal can no longer assert his position as a leader and is removed. That can't happen in Cantr, because:

The people are too varied, skillwise, they should all be around the middle.
There is no birth so you can't instill a culture into someone.
Death for the old is non-existent and they are immortal and stay as strong as they please.
