I have had this kind of thing with at least 8 players.. one of which I have at least 6 different characters that know 6 different of his.. the relationships are all different though.

Is this about me?

Lol yes but I believe I know 7 of your chars and you also of mine though one of them is dead now, oh wait you also know another if my chars, so that makes you know one more of my chars then I know of yours.

I find this happening at random intervals.

ACTUALLY, I found a few who I thought wouldn't be amused with my characters behaviors AT ALL and then get the 100% adverse effect.

Out of MY SEVEN, there are a few that are/have interact(ing/ed) with characters by the same players.

FUNNY THING: There is almost NO direct like or dislike compared to player and only character. I've had people say that a guy/gal is funny and on another character find him/her annoying

I still find myself grouping with certain RPers, however. I don't know why... exactly... but it just happens. Character behavior and RP "style" intrigue me so I sorta "attach" characters to them.

Yes, if I ever have a lot of "CRB-ey" discussions with an active roleplayer, I usually end up realising that I know one of more of their characters. However, I try not to discuss it too much with them, if at all, and it usually goes fine.
