It doesn't even sound like that.
It sounds like 'Siisar'.

Why do people keep typing/pronouncing my name or that of one of my characters wrong while I explicitly correct them?

It's spelled: ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder) :lol:

In which language? In English caesar is supposed to be pronounced like See-zer.

I know that. :P But you should not spell it like you pronounce it, especially not when someone just wrote it how it should be written.

Mostly little children learning to write write words down the way they sound. (There are exceptions, both adult and child ones, of course.)

So it does sound like "seizer". (Like "someone who seizes".)

With everything else you're right of course. :wink:

Actually I think you should pronounce a name like you do so in its original language, which is Latin, in this case.

It should be pronounced like;

Caesar (In latin. :P)

Or serious like;
Saysar.

Good. :P

Is it hollow in there? I would love for my name to be echoing somewhere.

I might spell characters' names differently to how they were introduced, as long as the phonetic effect is the same. (in which case, it doesn't matter since the characters themselves shouldn't be able to tell the difference).

For example, a certain player always seems to spell their character's name as 'ZooZ', but of course the extra capitalised 'Z' has no effect on the pronounciation, so I just spell it 'Zooz'.

Other situations where I might do it could be where a name which is a homophone of an existing word is incorrectly spelt, e.g. 'Catalist'. I would then spell that as 'Catalyst'.

I used to have a character called Nayome and it was annoying when someone called her Naomi even though it would sound pretty much the same.

lol,. I have a character that purposely does that with another character and he gets so angry about it which he shouldn't as he shouldn't be "reading" but listening.

Ugh, I just got my wisdom teeth taken out today, all four of them plus another molar that had cracked. My entire mouth is numb, I can't eat anything solid and I can't smoke cigarettes until at least Sunday afternoon....I'm swear I'm going to end up killing something before then, most likely my boyfriend, the poor thing.
I kinda had a bit of a panic attack when I came out of the anesthesia, I ended up hyperventilating and shaking, I think I scared some of the nurses, they didn't really know what to do with me so they just went and got my boyfriend and let him deal with it. Luckily, he's used to my anxiety and I was fine after a few minutes.

So, please forgive me if my characters are less active than usual, I'm mostly concentrating on getting through the weekend. Once I can smoke again, things will be better and the world will be right once more. I just have to get through today, tomorrow and most of Sunday....somehow, I don't think it's gonna happen...
