I would like a schizophrenic character.

I saw some kind of schizophrenic characters but they are usually similar.

I'd like to play a ruthless char without a conscience. Most of the chars I've had that lead a "life of crime" were the type to explain themselves and ended up treating their prisoners nicely or even letting them go.

I'd also like to be part of a society with a very different culture of some sort. Seems it's hard to establish something that is too different from the 'norm' and the few places I've seen/heard of in Cantr that tried failed. I like the idea of one sex outlawing the other.

I think one of my chars is becoming one of the 'abused and thinks he deserves it' type.

I did have a char that was flamboyant but not gay - though everyone assumed he was. It was fun.

I played two so far. One of them was overly dramatic and made a big deal out of everything, but got bored of life and after he found out his boyfriend starved himself to death, he followed into his footsteps.

The other is still alive and shrugged it off as some weird disease.

I was like "this is a neat subject. I haven't seen this before". Then I looked at the first page and I was like "wait... I started this".

A mentally retarded person who has been abused or witnessed a murder.

That would be interesting. I've had a retarded character who had a crush on a girl, and she invited him inside and started feeling his genitals. He was totally shocked as he didn't understand what was happening and he thought there was something wrong with him. Then he spent several days huddling in a corner so that no one couldn't touch him again. I don't think he was ever able to explain what happened. Witnessing a murder is something I haven't experienced yet. Maybe most players wouldn't be ready to think "nah, that's just the village idiot, they won't be able to tell anyone" or "I can convince them people would assume you had something to do with it if you ratted on me" but rather "they're going to find some excuse to break character and get me in trouble".

I think most if not all of my characters are bisexual, although very few have acted on it. So far only one of my characters has had male gay sex and even that was with a trolling newbie character who was trying to annoy me into killing him. But I'm hoping to change that eventually. Now I have one guy in a relationship but he's kinda afraid of being touched. Also Seko had a very nice relationship with Gabriel although it never got physical. It's a shame that they died. With my little experience of male gay relationships in Cantr it feels like they are more compassionate and equal than straight or lesbian relationships.

Even the one mine knows? I can totally not imagine him with a guy, you know. And I agree with the "this character has seen it, kill them" thought people would have, which is kinda lame. It'd be much more interesting to let them roleplay their thing. Like through their retardedness having a strange fear of sticks (being beaten with sticks in the past, for example) or mushrooms (strange sexual fetishes forced on themselves in the past). Idk, anything at all.

I have one character who's definitely gay, one who's not interested in women, would kill homosexuals, but would be willing to act like he loves women or men to get riches. Then I have one who's not interested in any relationships at all, other than basically "We know eachother, talk now and then, and that's it. I don't need you to be my friend." One bisexual girl who's more into girls than boys, but does one now and then anyway. Then there's one who's sort of into corpses. Another is confused because she has no idea what the heck the difference between men and women is. There's one who is sort of traumatized, though he feels no love at the moment, he was straight. Then a few straight ones, and one who loves living and is too busy doing silly stuff to love people.

Oh, and I had one LOVELY couple with Nom Pop but she decided to not put her account on vacation mode properly T_T They were soooo cute. I've never roleplayed much of an equal relationship. Most of mine were/are bottoms.

I have two straight characters (one of whom was in a sexual-with-some-romance relationship a long, long time ago), two gay ones (one of whom is "out" but has had no luck at all, probably for good reason, and one of whom is quiet about it), one who is probably asexual or something (he was going to be gay, but, ah, he's a special one ), and one who is bisexual and is in a romantic, though not yet sexual ("not ever sexual" I doubt, but, who knows?), relationship with another man. It's the first fully romantic relationship any of my characters has been involved in and is appropriately adorable.

I mean I had someone who killed, but he wasn't tough, he had no choice and eventually went crazy cuz he wasn't meant to harm things.

And the one time I was like "yes amber, let's make a tough macho man" I ended up making a guy who is tough and very proper and loves rules and structure, but who caves to a woman in trouble like it's going out of style. And there's been one at least that's taken advantage of that. It sucks.

...Especially that one. He went as far as confessing in a letter to this one guy that he's attracted to certain types of young men. Wrote that he'd be ready to talk about it. The guy left when he wasn't looking, without saying anything to him and he felt greatly embarrassed. Later he saw the guy again and was wondering if the person hated him over that letter, but he just said hello without expressing any sort of resent and then left again. It felt like "no hard feelings". It was a relief for him to find a woman but he still has a certain longing for something different. I don't know if that "totally not" was sincere or sarcasm but if it was sincere, then I can very well see why no one could imagine him with a hairy macho man but I could very well imagine him with a skinny twink.

I generally spawn the characters, and THEN decide what they're going to be like, depending on what kind of society it is, how many people, distance from sea, etc.

I am completely against the idea of spawning chars over and over until I get the right spot. I try to play all of my spawns to the best of my ability.

A believable schizophrenic 'psycho' would be fun, or maybe just someone who talks to inanimate objects and doesn't understand why the others don't hear them.
