Why not add the following to the sign up page?

In the world of Cantr, you can be exposed to every situation possible in real life, including the darker aspects of violence and rape, along with the mature subjects like sex.
- Every person lost in war is two too many.
- Respect comes from two sides and must be earned. Nobody has the right to it because of a title, sex, age, race or birth.
- What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
- I believe in True Love, do you?

Cause then this is officaly saying...

"Cantr has sex!"

They don't want that label.

HOWEVER....

I was at the same time suggesting something and exaggerating. I wouldn't honestly even think about putting it up there like that.

a disclaimer like the at the sign up page could possibly drop the number of potential new players or even attract the wrong kind of people.

BUT sending an automatic message AFTER they sign up would work.

If there was such a disclaimer, it would be good to also tell people how to react if someone was forcing actions on your character after you'd said you don't want to read it.

playerslayer, you have a way of killing laughs that I can only equivalate to an elephant taking a dump on someone's face.

I think Queenie was the one to say it basic enough. Always going to be sex in Cantr. You can try, but, it'll stay.

Seko - I like the warning part, about what to do if you're being forced. Maybe this should be added to a page somewhere though. Wiki maybe? *shrugs*

But if something is added to the wiki, we need to know that it's valid information.

According to that, it's perfectly okay to autohit somebody in rp and PD won't intervene. The only option for the player is to start ignoring the attacker, in which case the attacker's player won't get the kicks out of the rp and is likely to kill the victim fast rather than keep them alive for torture, eliminating any possible chance of rescue or escape in the future.

Am I really the only one wondering what the "lighter" aspects of rape and violence are?

Anyways, I am pretty sure there are topics dating back a LONG time about this and nothing ever gets done, and things continue to move on, which is one reason I have provided my sarcastic (and funny as some people think) replies.

It can't hurt to add a "cover your ass" message to the sign up page, something along the lines of "I understand that this game is completely unmoderated and I may encounter adult and violent themes." and require a tick here that "I understand and am okay with this" to continue.

However, I know this won't happen. XD

Can you put that disclaimer in your game?
