Man this happens to me all the time in real life. My friend will be talking to a chick and then introduce her like ugly/REALLY big friend to me. I dunno it sucks.

My neighborhood is once again infested by young, annoying people with distinctly North American accents and behaviour, apparently due to some music festival ("Lovebox weekender") being held in a nearby park. THEY'RE EVERYWHERE! :shock:

I am irritated by friends who think it's up for debate when I tell them I'm busy. When they say they're busy, end of story. But when I'm busy it turns into an interrogation / guilt trip until I give in and put off (again) whatever I was planning to get done to go spend time with them.

Are they hipsters? Friggen hipsters. Or even worse are scenekids, they're almost one and the same though. Symptoms of either if they fit some of the criteria they're probably one or another or both -.-

Wear multicolored basketball shoes.

Wear tight pants, or they're so skinny the pants intended to be tight are instead lose. (I own a pair or two of tight pants, not illin' on the tight pants.)

They don these annoying middle-eastern neckwear, but have no idea where it's from.

Fedoras.

Choppy hair.

Multiple highlights of different colors that most obviously occured at different times.

Flat brimmed hats. (I own one of these too, not illin on the flat brimmed hats. <3 My elmo flat brimmed hat)

I could go on forever.

I'm sorry to say this, but I hate the general teenage youth of America. No drive, no lust for knowledge or difference. We're stagnating, and as much as I love the internet it's part of the issue. It just makes me sad. I mean, look at their media. Hannah Montana. Jonas Brothers. Twilight. It's revolting, and it's all Twinkies.
Does anyone else see this or just me?

I'll tell you, I've never willfully or purposely watched or listened to any of the music, or tv shows/films you listed. Atleast in the Philadelphia/New York/New Jersey area it's nothing like that. You're wierd if you're into that generic crap. The real stuff is stuff like the bands who play at the Vans Warped Tour and the such.

And then there's the whole nother end of the spectrum with things like Slipknot and such.
