OK, I'm going to derail the FTO talk a moment to talk about Wurm Online. Do a lot of people here play that?

I tried a couple years ago and liked a lot of things about it, but the constant attention required killed it for me. I blame Cantr for ruining "grind" games for me. I dunno, something about having to sit there and click "mine>rock" every 5 secs.... I also recall planting something like 5 cotton seeds and getting only 1 seed in return after carefully tending the crop, which pissed me off.

Anyway, has much changed? Should I give it another try? Was I doing something wrong that made the game not enjoyable?

No you weren't doing anything wrong. I played under the handle Jawalt for a while, and I was a shieldsmith/farmer. I could make 80ql shields and farmed enough to sustain myself but it becomes boring. It'd be AWESOME for an RP inside Wurm. That'd sustain my attention 10 fold.

Lol, she was the one with the white stone vendor house oh god how I hated that thing. Bloom sucks. I remember saturday nights at PO, we'd throw two guys into a ring with with crappy shortswords or shafts and make them beat on each other The arena was epic. I miss Late Beta/Early Gold when everything was alot more 'hands off' moderation wise. Yeah, I just base my being a baby off of babies I know, but like, collapsed. So at one, where normally they'd just be going 'goo' or whatever, I'll be like "Dada, up! Up!" and so on. But my babie's already got attitude, and has started walking and whatnot. *scowl* Also don't like how the game forces you to talk as a baby, but whatever. I'm going to act age appropriate as the game calls for it.
Basically like, 'Fuck you. I'm going to be a toddler and a child and a grumpy slutty teenager.' (Slutty just cause it's fun and so I can born more people, this early in the game). I'm not gonna go, 'Goo, dada, Father dearest I'm afraid sister Jacinda is getting on my nerves. Spot of tea?' Ya know? Rdikulous. And yes Jacinda is a made up name, but point is: being a baby is awesome, why not enjoy it?

I hate it how 'my children' started talking as soon as they got rid of the baby talk. Now they are talking like adults. (Or teenagers, for all that matters.)

In FTO children grow faster,1 year in game is like 2-3 years in real,I think.
