No you weren't doing anything wrong. I played under the handle Jawalt for a while, and I was a shieldsmith/farmer. I could make 80ql shields and farmed enough to sustain myself but it becomes boring. It'd be AWESOME for an RP inside Wurm. That'd sustain my attention 10 fold.SumBum wrote:OK, I'm going to derail the FTO talk a moment to talk about Wurm Online. Do a lot of people here play that?
I tried a couple years ago and liked a lot of things about it, but the constant attention required killed it for me. I blame Cantr for ruining "grind" games for me. I dunno, something about having to sit there and click "mine>rock" every 5 secs.... I also recall planting something like 5 cotton seeds and getting only 1 seed in return after carefully tending the crop, which pissed me off.
Anyway, has much changed? Should I give it another try? Was I doing something wrong that made the game not enjoyable?
Other games similar to CANTR?

Wurm was fun, for a while. But the latest updates suck.

Less paying for the game to be actually fun for longer than two weeks. Less lag.

I'll apply for a position in the beta of Reveries. Does it have such a thing as the CR?

Sounds pretty neat but I probably shouldn't start a new game, I'm already stuck to so many. Edit: The problem with open-ended games is that they won't stop unless you let your account time out. It would be useful if after you've accomplished everything there is to accomplish, you could fade into the sunset like in Alter Ego and maybe have the ability to start over from a higher level if you come back later. I'm having this problem with Human-age, I don't want to go to age 3 because I bet it would require more of my attention, but there's no challenge left in age 2 (except the monthly medals, but I don't think that's worth it when you lose them at the end of the month anyway).

Thanks.
omg!!! *PMs you*
And um, PM Lumin, he can help you. The log isn't deleted, it's still there, just not everything shows up. Will be changed in the future.
