You're not the only one... even with my own family, I get sick of the emo, attention-seeking bullshit and feel like calling their bluff.

If someone's stupid enough to tell other people prior to attempting suicide, then they deserve to die. Otherwise, they're just trying to get sympathy.

If someone's stupid enough to tell other people prior to attempting suicide, then they deserve to die. Otherwise, they're just trying to get sympathy.

I used to call Sibling's bluff all the time. I DO NOT tolerate that crap. I suggest if one is feeling to the point of absolute worthlessness and they see no point to their existance then they end it and STFU about it.

Indeed it is attention-seeking bullshit and NO I don't "feel bad" when someone "actually does it" because it wasn't my life, my body, or my feeling of worthlessness. Did I help the problem? No, but now I no longer have to deal with their noise.

Actually it's a proven fact that people who mention suicide do want help for the feelings they have, and it is a cry for help. The one's who are actually going to end up doing it are those whom the cry for help had fallen on deaf ears, and more commonly, those who never said a word to anyone because they felt no one could help them even if they asked.

I find myself very glad that I don't acknowledge any family but my mother. She fakes it to her twin for me and I can lie fairly convincingly for the brief periods I actually see him.

Yes, yes, when you get all suicidal it sucks. You kill yourself, well then you're dead. You don't, well hey you're not. Suicide is merely a symptom, a cause, it has nothing to do with the effect. If you've pain, say it, don't moan about killing yourself.
I've never understood people who say things like that and don't mean it. Or why murder and suicide are such an issue.
But then I spose this again draws back to me being a sociopath so, *shrug* I spose I'll never understand.

I have actually tried to commit suicide.

I failed, and I am happy I did. But one of my best friends informed the school of the fact I was doing awful.. Just while I was doing better.

I now think suicide is a cowards way out. You can always get beaten, but suicide is like running away for your problems.. Although they can be simply too big to stand up against if nobody cares to help you.

Although mine was less about pain, I think, and more about...my brain was falling apart or something. Like my brain contained the universe. It was chaos. It was made of buzzing bees.
So of course I got into drugs.
Childish endeavors, I spose. Now, I'm just big on avoidance, and doing anything I can find that can make me happy. I avoid the philosophical questions--they just lead down a very bad road.
Suicide just is. It's not about being a coward, or being brave.
What if a man wanted to kill himself, and didn't, but then went on to become a serial killer? What then?
Suicide, itself, is a simple neutral.
