Resource HELP
Can you take a look at Char Joshua who started two projects wastefully (that was me sorry) - the kitchen table and the millstone -- is there any way to get those resources bacK??

Resources aren't ever given back as far as I'm aware. Some sabotage projects (like starting a cooking project that needs wood, on an island without wood) are removed, though, but no returning of resources.

I do believe they are reviewed on an individual basis but it is a programming department issue so they can handle it.

Well, if this is true.. then I have someone that has had a sabatage with resources... like maybe ... 30 projects were started.. including a bus frame in the middle of a forest where there few roads that handle even a car.
What ever happened to the implimitation of being able to cancel projects? I thought it was put into the accepted suggestions?

I wouldn't mind giving the resources back as long as the resources belonged to the person reporting it. I wouldn't want people going reclaiming resources from projects that have been lying about abandoned for years.
The reason I didn't reply was that I assumed it would be against the guidelines to give the resources back. It has been done in the past if the resources were added by a hacker, but I wouldn't mind fixing human errors and sabotage too.

In this particular instance I was playing on my phone. I checked, no activity, so started it without the full resources I needed only to find out they both were started AND complete when I get back to my regular computer. Teach me to start a project from my phone!!! But still, it was a bug of some sort as far as I am concerned.

If we are going to consider project sabotage as a minor bug exploit because projects were/are intended to be removable, I don't see how we can avoid extending that to accidental projects. It would be a logical fallacy to clear a project and return resources in the former case, but not the latter.
As a GAB member, I have no problem with the return of resources to players, provided it is done in a fair and consistent manner. Since it falls exclusively on the Programming department, it's would be 100% up to them to form a policy, since they're the ones doing the work.

Well, if it is done once, then I think it should be done again, and for everyone.

I think there should be an IG button for projects YOUR CHARACTER started to just "change their mind" and get their stuff back or have it drop to the ground... or something.
Removing someone eleses project would be too destructive for nespawn thieves and be another form of sabotage.
I also think that the program department should start removing LONG STANDING and stale projects from active towns. Just randomly, POOF!
How many suggestions is that, that have been suggested already?
As for the topic at hand I'd think it should be "case by case". Like if the project only needs a few of this or that and COULD, possibly, be obtained then the project will sit.

Projects started by someone else don't show up automatically, you need to click the search button. I doubt your phone wouldn't support the search since it's just a standard query. I think you just weren't aware of the change since you've been gone for so long.
