Yeah. I got caught on the hot side of a edited log event my very first spawn. It was found out, in the end, but only because he confessed and killed himself.

I never knew exactly what happened because I was in PRISON most of that time, and after they let me out, I didn't receive too warm a welcome during the trial or whatever that was.

I personally have written a report based on the event log, however in was incomplete, paraphrased and summerized...

Its annoying seeing time-stamps I agree for RP. But many aspects of cantr and naturally annoying such as "projects" sitting on the ground, inventory not requiring containers (15k of wood on your back, sure), sleeping yet being aware of what was said, and just sleeping at odd times. Cantr is an odd world, not like RL really at all..Some odd RP from time to time is bound to happen..

Personally, I keep a lot of event logs but they're just for my own personal use because I have a terrible memory and won't remember something the day after it happened. If I give someone a note about it, I make a summary...no reason they should have an event log, the character wouldn't write it like that..

honestly i don't care what any of you say about it being bad RP.....i mean, it is, BUT the only time when it's completely unacceptable is when they do it just to save their ass from getting killed. because what they do is take a note and jot down an entire event which should take them a little while to write but it happens instantly. if they RPed actually writing the event and left the toon alone for about five or ten minutes that would be one thing but instead they do it in a split second. it's not a snapshot of their memory it's more like a detailed written statement of what happened......i mean seriously how are they suppose to just tell you what happened? in some cases it would be simple, but in others it would take up like four paragraphs of RP to tell their half of the story and in the end that would probably not be enough. they would know there is more to it, thus they would have no reason to believe you, and meanwhile it takes the player twenty minutes or maybe a half an hour to write it just to fail to make a decent point. personally i have better things to do then attempt to RP properly in a scenario where my chances of dying or losing the argument are high.

FYI i am guilty of copying/pasteing in a note to save a toons life.

I wouldn't hesitate to kill a character with one of my more agressive ones if they dare spitting out a full event log of what happened to save their lives. It is impossible to do such things, and therefore it has to be full of lies.

Every single cantrian is a potential savant.

I never ever saw someone present a time log as a proof. Partially because where my characters live, it is a simple trial. Who has more prestige wins, which means the newspawn always loose.

If you are worried about fake proofs, just use Seko's argument or similar (an awesome argument ), lock that char up and see if after some threatening, spanking and mind terror (the only functional form of terror in cantr) he will still be able to count correctly every cantrian second.

Piscator......not everyone with autism has " superpowers " or any unique abilities that they excel in.....

EDIT: in fact now that i think of it most autistic people just have an abstract way of looking at things which is often complicated and difficult to understand. this doesn't make them geniuses. if it does, then i must have an IQ of 310.
