Why can't people just leave the fact that it cost 25000 stone to build a room. Here are a few theories that explains the 15K stone for everyone so that there is so more argueing.
Theory #1) It turns out cantar people are really skilled masons and they really like their doors to last on the inside so they build them 2 ft thick. This is only used on the inside though so the amount of stone "saved" is actually spent building the huge door. (This also explains why cantar people can slay people by the hundreads with relative ease, carry large amounts of stone and metal, vast distances without stopping, but darn it all if they could kick in a door to a building.
Theory #2) As you are building magical prankster sprite steal some of your supplies during construction making it seem like you need more than you do. I think this also pertains to real life as I always seem to find myself out of lumber fairly quickly during construction. Dame MAgical Prankster Sprites.
Also I would suppose that the reason why the 1 room addition is so expensive is because you are also paying for the demolition and renovation of the rest of the house into the mix. I think some people fail to grasp the actual messiness of an addition. here lies Theroy #3) When building upwards you have to tear down an excessive amount of house before you can even start to build the second floor. However you still have to rebuild it all back again and you wind up spending a lot of materials on the room you destroyed as well as the room you are building. Assuming you want the other rooms to look the same some people change the configuration of their house, but you can't do that on Cantr.
Theory #4) All doors in cantar are magical waygates that send you to another dimension where that room is located. when entering every door you are scattered to another part of that dimension. (This also could explain why there are no windows in cantar) (Also in actuality this is how the buildings in Cantar work the way I see it Jos may have all the buildings lead to a part of the map that if you ever to tear down the wall and look through thousands of angry sheep would flood inside and attack you bringing a terrorizing wave of fear over the island.
Well hopefully that helps everyone understand why you should just stop crying and spend the stupid 25K stone. Because what it really comes down too is that it's tupid to spend programming time on lowering the cost of second and third rooms in a building when it could be spent on much cooler things like new weapons, items, resources, and babies.
rooms too expensive
