Was that at "someone special" BZR as mine did not say that. :)

Actually I don't have any thieves and the like. I find it slightly poor RP to spawn as such and I HATE to PK. (There are a few where I'd like to make exceptions for though)

The law breaking I was talking about was more along the lines of minor infractions that don't even get warnings too because the character is "funny" or "special". Cantr is odd like that. If you've a nice quirky personality for your character less people are willing to lock them up or kill them for things they should be locked up and killed for.

My best moments are simply finding freinds and a place and role, that is interesting. I like having goals and reaching them. I love those characters most.

Sure theft and murder can be exciting, theres less getting, earning and striving.

My greatest "thrill" was stealing a boat because of oppurtunity. I guess im an honest bastard, because I found that both thrilling to the extreme, and troubling to my conscience. I guess taking keys, or killing thirty via tea and healing foods would be similar, exciting, but not as satisfying as finding good freinds, a place, and goals to earn..

Greatest Cantr moment? Making an idiot out of Samuel Beam.

I once had a really great episode with a certain "pirate" who turned out to be calculating and perfectly logical, but not exactly a criminal. She knows who she is. :P

I also enjoyed (as a player) the sadness and panic that ensued when King Richard of San D'Oria fell. I'm a strong believer that without momentous conflict and the occasional tragedy, no true roleplay can happen.

Both of those events closely involve the same player. Coincidence? Probably not. (Please don't quit!)

...but neither of those events were more fun than making an idiot out of Samuel Beam.

*Your character stole the van, not you.

You are not your character, and that is something very important to always keep in mind.

Sorry if I sound a bit rude, just telling the truth.

Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.

And yet without you, your character is nothing but a shell. Uncapable of doing anything at all, even dying, without game mechanics. So in effect, "you" did do it.

OMG did I just defend Rigel? *looks for her thermometer*

They are still not you. It's perhaps a bit like being schyzofrenic. Every character is a different personality 'living' inside your body. They are not you, you just share some traits with them.

I for instance have the same humor as my mother.
Would that mean that me and my mother are one and the same person?

Could we just agree that saying "I" is much simpler than saying "my character" all the time?

NEVER!

I do not use I for a character. The character is another person than me. (Really, I actually worry for characters, sometimes even more than persons in 'Real Life'. (Wherever that place is.))

Greatest cantr moment...

I don't know. Most regretted moment: Loud Larry screwing up his only escape attempt and getting himself killed. That whole situation was incredibly stressful (even OOC) and I wasn't thinking clearly. No need to give more details. If you had a charrie there, you remember it.

Maybe Lond Arminius emancipating Naron from the Lad Empire, consolidating his power and extending it over three towns, plus a limestone outpost. 'Twas but a hollow shell, as evidenced by it's disintegration after his death, so it really wasn't much of an accomplishment after all.

I've done incredible work with two of my current current characters, but I don't want to comment on that. If anything they build lasts, it'll be my greatest achievement to the game. As it stands now, all my dead characters were fairly inconsequential to the greater game world (Except for Deserae Seadrake, who was greatly eclipsed by Gallagher in fame, though her maps still exist in distribution).

Edit: Oh, and Tyson Braddock mapped Burgeo. That was a pretty high-impact venture. Haven't found a better map yet, and his map's even out of date with the inclusion of new resources. I guess I did more than I thought...
