What if, instead of having to click between Large Box and Regular Box (clearing anything typed in already), the field expanded down automatically as you typed? There's a pretty good example here, using JavaScript.

I just copy-paste or cut-paste before clicking "large box". Then again, depending on the character, I might keep it on large box the whole time.

It sounds like something helpful though.

Due to some bug I have to use large box all the time anyway, it lags lots with the small text field.

I was under the assumption that the textfield being large or small is based on the session. If that is correct, if you wipe all your sessions it should reset.

Seems to store based on character too, at least on the iphone. I have it come up as a large box on some (until I reset it to small) between sessions, and not on others. Strange huh?

Yea thats why i figured it was session based. Because my browser is set to small but my iphone is set to large and character based.

This one is ALWAYS small box for me. I can, of course, switch it to large box but this isn't "session based" as the others.

My boxes stay large or small until I remove cookies from my browser which I do every two or three days.

Its not a hassle to "click" large box or "small box" but having it self expand would be a nice little extra thing. :D

I'm not sure but i think i'd find the self expanding box annoying, but i could probably get use to it and not care.

Crap pisc, that's two things this month alone lol.

I never use large box. I clicked it yesterday, oddly enough just to see how large it was. Like usual, I was disappointed.
