Your Character's Cantr lover

I and my character share a secret crush on someone but I don't think he has a clue. I have no idea who plays the character and don't really want to, I think it would ruin things. Mystery is much more fun.

Exactly! Sometimes it is tempting to want to know, but it is best not to. It really is...

And I can't really say it's happened to me to that extend either. I have developed attachments to other characters...but not so badly that not interacting with them would alter my mood.

my IC cantr lover is......uh.....Carey i think is her name? i can't remember i just met her and i can't check the game for some reason.

it's the chick who talked with Exile like 4 or 5 days ago. had quite the conversation.....i'm sure the other player enjoyed it as much as i did :wink:

i wish i could figure out who the player is.

I have developed personal attachments to other characters even when they were just really great IC friendships. Even when I no longer played, I sometimes would check in with friends who DID play....just to see how that character was doing. There are some whom I will always wonder about, and wish I could have stayed connected to. When you have a great RP relationship IC, there is a real friendship that I don't think is unhealthy at all. And whether or not I know the IRL person behind the character, I often find that I can relate to each individual character vs just the player if that makes sense. And I hope that other feel the same with my characters -- they are themselves, not necessarily me!

I get to really like 2 charries that were my charries lovers:

1st: I didn't know the player at first, but then learned about him on forum, by accident. It didn't change anything in the relationship, though, maybe even made me feel more comfortable with RP. And then geting furious and frustrated as the player was becoming inactive. I'm afraid he's not in cantr anymore...

2nd: I've learned the players identity only after my charrie died. But then, after over a year, another one of my charries met that one, and things were about to happen (he's just to cute... :roll:

I couldn't resist). I was absolutely all right with it, maybe aside of the little awkwardness of me knowing who the player is, and that she doesn't know that it's me (again). Unfortunately things won't happen further, as this charrie is dead as well.

I wouldn't mind IRL versions of those 2 charries, especially the 2nd one... (if not, plushie version would be ok, too :roll:

)
