No nerf! Tea is friend, not food! (wait...)

I have only one thing to disgress:
Elros wrote:So, it might come in the future. Hwever there were also some other very advanced items which we may never see in the Cantr world since they are far more advanced than the current civilizations we have.

This Fair Gentleman Who Will Make a (Skippable) Demonstration on Why I Disgress wrote:*hem hem* Please, look at this gentleman. shows an engine*
It is a combustion engine. It is driven by the combustion of liquid fuel. The gases from the reaction expand in the engine, thus a explosion occurs within the cilinder, which moves the piston, creating motion. *aproaches the engine* Now, if we screw off the pin holding the piston to teh engine... *as he screws it off, the piston flies away hitting a newspawn. He takes 56% damage. The technological barrier was inneficient against the attack*

Technological barrier thus isn't a real problem. The techniques exist. Maybe not the idea of adaptating it into weaponry, but the they exist.

I really don't mind on how gunpowder weaponry will be implemented, but tif they did, they should (logically) be the strongest (but not overpowered) weapons in game. Of course, lots of innacuracy problems. After all, it was made off a car engine. It would be just a crossbow with a slightly higher damage. But maybe a less stronger version, like a pistol or carbine, could be made to make a nice cheap weapon with a reasonably punch of damage. Something below the big three (Claymore, Battle Axe and Crossbow) but still nice.

On adding it to ships, it is a nice idea. The only thing that I dislike is that it would seem rather late. What I mean is that gunpowder is not needed to naval warfare, since siege equipment in ships is may older than any bombard. But why only with the development of cannons would people start to thinking about it?

Oh well, this isn't the first suggestion of this kind that I see, and probably won't be the last. Primarily because we always get to the topic on wether should be the combat system be modified, reebalanced to add new things, wether it is really needed, wether cantr is a war game or not. There is never a clear point among all. And all for our love for the strings of data in the server that constitutes our characters.
