Turning things off doesn't do the trick, but buying a $1 surge protector does. Most surge protectors also come with a lifetime $10,000 warranty on all items plugged into it.

I am in Austria, and the guy's a god-damn Polizei. He said we were making too much noise, so he decided to do some crowd control. Asshole, much? But it's okay, I can still play ping-pong.

Yeah, that wouldn't happen in the US actually. A cop knocking on a door and shooting someone in the foot sorta willy nilly would be TORN APART by the media.

Unless the victim was a "minority" but welcome to America! :lol:

Rant: I miss Marol's gadget ma-thingy for ticks.

Reason: It was always comforting when something important was going on to know when the tick was coming. And then the big 'day we do not speak about came' and the new server-ma-thing, and now the gadget doesn't work and I don't know when ticks are anymore.
