Take a deep breath and calm down. Everybody gets characters locked up sometimes. Most likely if he hasn't done anything then they want his stuff. If this happened less than 4 days ago then you're not supposed to talk about it yet because of the 4-day-rule. Also I've never heard of this character and I wouldn't be surprised if most people hadn't either. So maybe a better question would be does anyone have characters in (edited) at the moment and then ranting to them in a PM.
Edit: Oh I read the town name wrong. I can well guess what might be the case. But find out in-game or find out after the character is dead. You're not supposed to let stuff affect your playing so it's better not to even try getting OOC information.

Duh, people are not allowed to act on OOC information even if they got it. If someone was stupid enough to come rescue him based on OOC information, it would most likely be detected and besides, since he posted here, you have a good reason to be alert just in case. An OOC reason yeah but if you suspect everyone else would take advantage of it...
