I'd like to listen! I find trying to decipher his posts to be great brain exercise!

No it's okay Rigel's pretty hilarious actually. (in a 'weep for humanity' kind of way...)

This whole thread's one massive derail in itself, anyway.

It'd be funny to have a split from a split topic. xD

And basically he thinks my charri did something he as a person is against, and all his characters automatically hates the guts of my guy, trying to steal from him and all that. I don't mind his characters (other than the fact that he uses a lot of CRB when making 'em) but it's really irritating having to "scream" out at my OOCly all the time. He does that more than he actually roleplays... >.> Every one of his lines has at least one ooc message...

And plus, he keeps on getting IG events wrong too, that doesn't bother me, but the fact he keeps on trying to insult my OOCly for it does... xD

And what I found funny was one of his characters (he's had three or four characters as far as I know in my town) thought everybody liked him and all that. In the end, everybody was glad he was gone. He was going on about how my character didn't get elected to the town, and I held an election and I won without him getting a single vote. xD It was around that time the Rigel himself started getting annoying. The character was fun to RP with, when he actually RPed, though the whole character was using information from a previous one of his...

I mean, come on. How is a 22-5 year old supposed to know what happened 8-14 years ago? He had another character around at that time though... >.>

I don't like how people get mad at certain groups just 'cause there character gets killed for mouthing off at somebody. Of course if you insult or break the laws you're gonna get killed. >.>

'cause most people are too lazy to roleplay with prisoners and stuff like that. :S

rollplaying as a prisoner is fun sometimes. A change of pace ya know? Its not my favorite past time, but if you get locked up, the game ain't over yet right?

this whole game is about good RP. Its so sad when its not taken to its fullest extent. I am very happy to meet up with people who play here and make their characters come to life, even if they are just about to die.. die with some story and fun.

I wish I could roleplay that for once. Either there's no one to roleplay it with/to (enter, attack, leave kind of people) or they just kill without RP so I don't even have the chance to roleplay it. Recently got another character killed without RP.

After thinking about this I've made a promise to myself, that is never to kill anyone without rp, even if that one is a lithuan. (jk) And I promised myself also to not to attack the person who imprissioned me unless I think I can beat him, or for Rp reasons (like my char is a brute and it would come through his mind not to attack someone before he died.) Maybe you guys should do the same.

It's seems much easier to drag, attack and leave till the char is dead but if you think twice. The game isn't about killing, it's about Rp. So... even if it takes me some healing food, I'll do it. I'll stay in the room and rp with the prisioner. And hey who knows, if he's a good player he might see through my action and just rp back without attacking...
Maybe the solution is in killing only when you really have too, trying to spare others lifes with they cooperate...

Exactly! This goes for EVERYONE, in my book. Including you 'pirates'. Met some rather 'nice' pirates in Second Blojt not long ago. Nobody died, yea we resorted to violence but it was sorta like "*panics* Ah pirates! *shoots*" Before that there was reasoning etc and the whole thing was RPed. Nobody got hurt at all, minus a little healing food needing. I should say, "Nobody needed to be buried."

After this incident, I was rather happy at how the situation was handled. Not to mentioned SHOCKED that they returned their captive.

I think the main thing stopping people RPing much when attacking/stealing is much the same as why you don't see characters *shifting uncomfortably* when lying...player mistrust, while one player is typing out "Oi thief, stop!" the player of the other character could have run in and out of a couple of buildings and cleaned them out.

Same with fighting, while a pirate is emoting his actions, the players of the townspeople could drag him away without a word.

Don't ask me how to get players to trust each other though!

All you can do is trust players yourself. If enough people do, then we'll get somewhere.
