Gambling and sport events. ? Just an idea, non-functional skills could be interesting.

So people will volanteer to fail at sports or gambling? Not likely

Rping is just fantasy. Cantr is harder than that fluffy crap, even with all that chat Rp'n.

Its a small idea. Opinion will create or destroy it.

I have gambled in cantr quite successfully, as well as play as sports. I have lost games just as easily as won them. There is no need to stress programmers with adding such useless skills.

Still one has to admit these activities have a random element which is easier to has set than RP.

Does it really matter to you if one of your characters wins or looses in a sports event?

Well, but does it for you as a player matter if one of your characters wins or looses in a roleplaying game? The roleplaying value should be the same. If you really like seeing people win in a sports event, why don't you watch a sports event?

Honestly I dont care. I thought some might. Random skill success are RP opportunities.

There's no need to add a mechanic for something which is very simply RP'd...part of the fun of roleplaying is seeing different situations. Try playing a very unlucky person or a loser.

Not everyone wants to play all-conquering, infallible characters

There have been many RP'd gambling games...Drojf back in..what ...1300's? Someone posted that game on here somewhere...

Anyways this is useless, RP it.

You can always use an impartial third party for random rolls.
