I hate it when your forget about your sailing characters because they don't light up, and then when you remember to check them they've sailed into open water and you have no idea where you are.

Hehe, I've been there several times. Even with a longboat you can easily lose track of the coast, then how about a sloop or even a raker?

She was nicknamed Psycho Bitch 1st month we had her. And no, though she is slightly handicapped, normally she's not like that, but shes got this weird issue with my face being covered.

I hate that guy who I used to call my "best friend". He's such a jerk ... ugh, if I wouldn't be CD I'd call him something completely different than this, as "jerk" certainly doesn't describe what he really is.

Now he is inciting others to be mean to me as well, and since I am ignoring him and we were going to do a project for English together, we had to think of something else. He joined another group, even though the limit for a group was two. No less, no more. The teacher didn't complain. Then I asked the exact same thing and I was told I was told it was late for that now and that I'm supposed to do it alone. Now, I don't understand it, but maybe someone else does... (doubt it anyway) ...why would it make a difference wether I work alone or with others, as for wether it'd be too late to get it all set up? It's quite the opposite way around actually. Bah. So I walked out of classroom and closed the door rather... loudly. :)

So, great. Happy. Tomorrow that English thing was supposed to be done, and I won't be able to do it. So I'll get a 1 out of 10, probably. There goes my average grade of 9 out of 10 on my school report.

Oh, and yay. A really close friend of mine is considering suicide. Just great. She's way too nice, and certainly doesn't deserve all the trouble she has to go through.

I'd be glad if I were you. Finding out sooner rather than later than the individuals you considered good and worth befriending weren't actually good or worth being friends with. Better alone than ijn bad company.

Don't worry much about your suibud. Suicidal teen is more or less redundant. Everyone thinks about it, but as long as she's bringing that up to you, she's not really at risk of much. The ones who go for it are the ones that shut up about it, when those thoughts happen.

Good luck with those grades though. That's what blows when forced to work teams. I work alone as a rule to avoid people putting their crap on my table.

Actually most people who attempt suicide have also talked about it in advance (although also most people who talk about suicide don't actually try it). If someone seems depressed, people should tell them to talk to a professional. When a regular person has to constantly hear about someone's depression, they'll risk getting depressed as well, or then they start avoiding the person and the person might end up feeling no one cares about him.

Huh. Well, my advice is this; do happy things with her! Be cheerful around her, but don't make it seem as if it's because you've got a great life and she's got a crappy one. Get her to look at the good things in life, not the bad ones.

I had a friend commit suicide earlier this year, when I was in Ingersoll. He never seemed like the type, nor gave any indication...Just wrote a goodbye for his friends and family and.....the story ends.

I think the numbers for "people attempting suicide" might be inflated by "people who want attention and take parasuicidal or suicidal actions without the intent or desire for death itself", like people who "OD" on six pills to get a drama show going around them. Those types definitely would talk a lot about it before trying it, because that's what they actually aim for, talking to others and having others feel pity or mercy.

I suspect the majority of people who successfully end their own lives do so more or less like Amber just said.

She has professional help. And I'm glad she's finally opening up to that a little bit more now after I told her it'd be better to do that instead of not talking about it at all a few times.

And I'm happy around her all the time. :) She cheers me up, I cheer her up.

I've considered suicide a lot of times. But that was never more than for a day when I just felt shitty. I realized that as long as there are people around that would care if I'd die, it'd be better for me to just live with the trouble I go through - the trouble like everyone goes through. No one's life is perfect. ^^

And yay, didn't get a 1/10 but nothing at all. So, during English I could make a drawing for that girl :) She liked it a lot ^^
