My first char was a pretty disturbed teenager, embroiled in the horrible world that is sex, drugs, 'n' rock 'n' roll. However, he managed to pull himself out of the gutter, with the help of his girlfriend Marsha, and go to college. Finally, with a degree in Natural Sciences, he proposed to Marsha, and they were engaged. He organized a huge wedding for them, but was stood up at the last moment; this was to be the first in a long line. He was incredibly successful with his business, however, and was rich by middle adulthood. He was intelligent, strong, calm, but not gentle whatsoever. Finally, a woman named Marion married him in old age. Eventually he died in a car crash.

No matter what I do, my females never can seem to get married. WTF. Though they are massively rich and own tons of crap and have great family relations....

My only male seemed to die at around 12-15 of a drug overdose, because his family hated him, and he was depressed. Which I don't understand because he was only smoking weed but WHATEVER. ...This game is frustrating...

Stupid question, are they dating? Pick a guy (I tend to search for ones that are very trustworthy and preferably at least moderately confident), go on a couple of dates, then get stable, go on a couple more dates. If the guy starts talking about marriage, it's better to get engaged straight away or he might go with miss right #2. You might want to try living together before getting married, but the guy could feel like he's not ready to give up a part of his privacy. When getting engaged it might be worth while to let the guy take initiative instead of dropping hints, but my experience is they are so daft that they wouldn't figure it out on their own. I don't think my engagement has ever been shot down but it's pretty common for the guy to chicken out from the wedding.

Like one of my characters got pregnant while in college, had a girl named Anne even though the father (I think his name was Brian) would have wanted me to have an abortion but I didn't. Then I also chose natural birth and we had to go to classes, which must have been tough for him since he didn't want the child in the first place. But the birth itself went well. Got engaged to Brian, his parents seemed to like me. But then that bastard dumped me on the altar. Anne was a rather temperamentic child, when she grew up then she got married but it didn't last long. She came back home after two weeks or so. Maybe I gave her a bad role model. Throughout my middle and old age I was desperately trying to find a husband, Verne seemed rather promising, he had a 15-year-old son from a previous marriage. But his confidence must have been very low since he was... a tossing bag. I dropped hints about getting married and we got engaged, but whaddaya know, he also left me standing on the altar. I think I still managed to find someone trustworthy in the end. I had 100 physical until I became the head of this council or what ever it was, it was so stressful that my health dropped by 40 points but I did get a reward out of it. I cleared every single challenge there was left, bought some stuff and a small house (I'd gotten a load of money from writing a book and selling my recipe to fast food industry) and then I died peacefully in my bed.

Seko, thanks, but I already tried all that. It seems as a woman, I just am not playing the type of woman men want to marry lol. Actually one brought it up to ME, but when the prenup Q came, I accidentally clicked next without changing it to say I was cool with prenup. So I lost out. And was then old. And no one would date me.

True, their copyright ended 2008. But their forums and other games seems somewhat living.*shrugs*

Wow, Andu, I was totally looking for this game a couple months ago! Good find...

The first time I found it was probably seven years back :s at least.
Too bad it's never really progressed.

I know man. It's annoying the hell out of me. But, ah well, I'm enjoying spring. The grass, the trees, the birds, the incredibly hot girls running around the jogging ring in nothing but their sneakers, shorts, and tight tank tops. Ah, the joys of spring....
