When I first read this I thought it said Anti-German Act and I thought the Know-Nothings were at it again. I was going to say they didn't learn their lesson when my Irish ancestors kicked their ass back in 1800th and 1900th century.

"Anti German Act" or AGA as its being nicknamed will require every household to report the presence of any and all Germans or activity level.

This action, brought about by recent studies by government scientists, indicated that ALL Germans breeds are on the level of intellegence as hamsters, and are found to be a menace to society as a whole
.

This action, if pushed throught will make all Germans except for a small population in some small rural areas, get tagged, registered, and then spayed or neutered. The idea being to keep this "pest" in the "controlable" catagory of a population.

Opposing Scientists and private run study groups argue that Germans as a whole demonstrate an intellegence level equal to humans and in fact are in the "byzantine" era of their technological advancment. The opposing Scienists are voicing very loudly their opinion that the governement is only trying to prevent the growth of an emerging intellegent species that may someday rival our own.

The general feeling is that if this action gets passed, then future intellegent species we humans meet will recieve the same aggressive and controlling treatment. Already, a group has been formed called the ARG, American Regulation of Germans to find German tribes and begin the sterilization processes deemed nessisary by the Government.

I believe Psycho Pixie, thingnumber2 and Jake are forum gremlins. They're alive, and they're good gremlins. Most of the time.

Even if you believe that, It is not a nice thing to say. Maybe you have had bad experiences with gremlins, or you just don't understand their intentions. I have had many gremlins cross my path, with very few problems. I consider gremlins friendly and helpful.

One good aspect about your comment, though:
you acknowledge the existance of gremlins. Maybe Psycho Pixie won't completely dislike you!

*sighs and begins her looong note*

"the only good gremlin is a dead gremlin"

"Tagging is a good idea, tag them with a 9mm"

I am sensing alot of hostility twords an emerging intellegent species here. Lets get serious now.

IF scientists discovered an imerging intellegent species in the rainforest, and the government desided it needed to be wiped out... what would you say to that?

Gremlins do exist, they are smart, furry little creatures, who with several hundred more years will have a society on par with our current human one. Their level of knowledge, technology and intellegence is about even with us humans during the roman empire. They are just more fanatical about clothing, cleanliness and dust bunny control then we are.

Dust bunnys do exist as well, and gremlins are the main predetor of dust bunnies. Dust Bunnies are to gremlins what cows are to us. YUM.

I began this topic to descuss the political ramifications of our government deliberatly destroying an imerging intellegent species. I want your thoughts....

NOT your jokes about killing these little guys.

Yes, I am crazy.
No i am not a forum gremlin
Yes i am called psycho Pixie for a reason.
No I am not making up gremlins.
Yes gremlins exist.
No, the AGA is not real, but its a "what if" senario

A Heinlein reader, RKL? Good for you.

PsPi, most of us know you are right about gremlins existig. Those that say they dont, do, but are in denial because they cant bear the thought of something being more intelligent than them. Gremlins could be, at this rate, considerably more intelligent than humans very soon, if they keep evolving at the rate they have been.

I could come up with a relevant Orson Scott Card reference but choose not to at the moment.

Only gremlins I'm concerned about are the ones stealing my concentration. I'm supposed to be writing a 5-pager on the Communist Manifesto at the moment.
I'm not dead; I'm dormant.
