I easily spend 400 minutes in the weekends.

It seems like it would be hard to tell how many minutes people are actually using, I was on last night and I went through a lot just because I never bothered to log out while I was getting drinks or putting clothes in the dryer and stuff.

I've got rid of more than half my characters since the freeze though (accidentally got a life while the game was down...) so while I could manage easily even with the limit it is nice not to have to be constantly logging in and out and copy and pasting everything from notepad.

I've always wondered about the minutes system anyway.
Do minutes really matter? Aren't clicks or actions more important?
I think it would have been better to limit those instead of minutes.

Oh well :P

Technically yes, but if each action cost a move then people might stop talking or stuff like that to preserve moves. And it would also be annoying if you lost a move with each page load since then you'd lose a bunch when naming people, or dropping resources or picking them up.

Well people did that already with minutes as well but in a different way. They would just log out as soon as possible after posting the text they wrote in their notepad.

I love the new system. I have'nt seen any lag or any other problems personally just all been beneficial. I used to hate running out of minutes during pirate attacks and such, loading up tons of loot and making your escape takes up alot of time and never a good feeling running out of minutes and being helpless in a town your trying to massacre. Thanks alot Jos you saved all of us SOB's everywhere in Cantr.
