I'll share a few...
Buff Blackrock - One of my favorite characters that lived through the war with Firecam, Karnon, and the entire island... lived through the exodus to Burgeo and the battle on the coast... escaped the Commander and his wife only to be found by Naedell who nursed him back to health... then sailing across the Cantr map to end up in the Commonwealth area to give the Blackrock tribe a new beginning.
The guys name was Gator, then Snake. He lived in Reniov Swamp a few RL years ago. He is included in the Atlas in the government section:
Government: No government at all... just one 70 year old man alone in the swamp.
Pete Zahria - Took over the Alenz Hills Mining Company after his boss died. Tried to implement the 20 days working, 20 days vacation schedule and thought it worked well. Got all caught up in some love drama and was almost killed for harbouring a criminal.
Johnny Rebel was a character I tried to keep a low profile with. He became more active once Crag Rock died. I guess he is most remembered for driving the Mystery Machine van around the island with 3 other Stone Knights for many years. He built a ship and searched for Adam Brinks for a few years just to say hello, but never found him.

Professor Lookie, R.I.P.
Hated the Stone Knights. Traveled Treefeather from the Blojt region all the way to El Dorado, then settled in Doryiskom where he founded the Doryiskom Scientific Research team. The town sponsored their expedition by building a galleon so they could search for exotic materials in faraway lands.
The expedition consisted of 5 individuals. Once they'd collected resources needed for their journey, they left Treefeather continent and first landed on Shai. While in Shai their visit coincided with Adam Brink's. The last surviving member of Professor Lookie's crew (the others died from sleeping sickness) gave Brinks their vessel to avoid being killed, leaving them stranded on Shai. Eventually they convinced a man (whom I'll leave unnamed) to give them a lift back to Treefeather. They waited on his boat to depart, but the man was sleeping for several days, so they remained docked the entire time. Becoming impatient, Professor Lookie's travel partner decided to set sail without waiting for the captain of the vessel to wake. When the man finally woke, he assumed we were trying to steal the boat and decided to kill us. Professor Lookie died from a crossbow bolt through the chest.
Lesson here: Even if your character is highly intelligent, he/she is only as intelligent as the company he/she keeps.

Well, I was looking through my character list, and I feel I have to commerate one that I loved.
Farrel De Gardes: Had a PLAN for his home, which managed to fail. Ended up at an anarchic village and died of starvation while riding back to his old home for stone.
