Gettin' suspicious...
All of a sudden, in the French town of Kwatsjdurov, there appear at LEAST four men who all introduce themselves with their last names in CAPS. One after the other. And they seem to be all following a leader who is one of them. He says suddenly in French to someone: "I give you the order to go to the forest and get some wood." And then she immediately leaves. It seems they all spawned there. This makes me more than a little suspicious, but I don't want to make any outright accusations because my French isn't that good.

That could be a CR breach, but I mean it could just be those people know each other online or offline and they start organizing, but it sounds like a CR breach if they instantly know where the materials are. That is using OOC info in the game. If you translated it correctly that sounds like a cr breach kind of, but you will have to get it from the PD.

Though I haven't heard this captain saying "I give you the order ..." (my char must have been in a building), I also felt suspicious when those men appeared suddenly, very well organized and giving the impression they wanted to rule the place...
Anyway, if those chars belong to the same player, I don't think it's really a CR breach, or at least is it unintentional, for this player seems quite new: He spoke in-game about "playing", to what someone answered quite skilfully saying he never heard of any game round here and asking what kind it was...
The moral is: understanding must precede conviction.

Yes, I think this player is quite inexperienced as well... he put a big note on the ground, signed by all these people in caps and some more of them that didn't appear yet, about organising the town and in that note he used normal dates & times (meeting time: Thursday 8th of April... 19h00 I think). He appeared rather surprised when my char mentioned to him that a private calendar like that is not ideal for setting up a meeting with strangers and that there already is a calendar included in Cantr.
Another thing that's strange is that he said he's waiting for some other guys with capital names to arrive and I doubt he is old enough to have travelled far enough to have met them and formed such a strong band with them.
Lately there has been another character like that, though not with a name in capitals, she said she's going to leave in order to visit some friends - when she was spawned in this town!

And it has to be really hard to do the capital rule in the non-english areas being that there are simply less places to be. And with the animals in some places even more clustering is caused.
You all have to be the capital rule exeprts.
Hopefully the new player sticks after they realize what your talking about.

Meh a écrit :
Tu l'as dit, bouffi !
(My dictionary translates that "You don't say!"
)
I've got several chars in the French area, most of them scattered all over, but some in the same place and I can tell you it's not a sinecure trying not to breach the Capital Rule
Jean-Luc
P.S. And I must confess I made some (big) mistakes as a newcomer, like speaking French in the English area...

This case is being looked into. It would be helpful to know the characters names. Please e-mail me at annette@cantr.net with more specific details.

But if this organizing was done anywhere other than in the game, then it's still a CR breach.
