How do I post a picture or image in the forum?

It's easiest to host it on a site like photobucket.

Upload the image to a hosting site like Photobucket, as Doug mentioned, then copy and paste the URL of the uploaded image into your post.

Then surround the pasted URL by [img]and[/img] tags, which can be done by selecting the text and clicking the "Img" button above the field.

Or you could use a site that doesn't complain about stuff like signing up, like tinypic.com, where you can simply upload and use your picture within seconds.

Hm, that's a good one. I had thought that Photobucket was the only alternative after Imgpop disappeared.
